Debbie Freshcorn, Clerk of Session
I have served as Clerk of Session for a number of years and is currently an active member of Session. I also serve on the Church Operations Team and as Assistant Treasurer. I came to Bell Memorial on an invite from a friend when I was looking for a new church and never left - that was before my son was born in 1982. In fact he was baptized here at Bell before my husband and I even became members.
Bob has attended Bell Church since 1986, and became a member when he married his wife Toni (Fontana). His passions are mission, stewardship and any way to serve. He is a graduate of Robert Morris University and is a supervisor in the transportation industry. Bob enjoys walking, watching professional hockey and college football. He also enjoys spending time with his children, Noah & Emily. He was drawn to Bell because of its prayerful and welcoming nature.
I have been a member of Bell for life and an active elder off and on for at least 20 years. I was born into the church and have never left. I enjoy children's ministry, especially the young ones, helping in the nursery and with their activities. I also enjoy planning and preparing meals for church functions.
I have been a member of Bell Church since the late 1970’s. Before this I was a non practicing Roman Catholic. The event that made me change churches and become a practicing member of Bell was the birth of my son. The love they showed him and continue to show him and us is nothing short of Christ’s love for each and every one of us. The help they gave when we found out of his special needs was nothing short of miraculous. Except for my immediate family the members of Bell are the closest people in my life. When I say that Bell Church is a family I really mean it. My particular passion is in the field of Benevolence/Mission. For many years I was the Benevolence Treasurer making decisions about how and where we used our various resources for God’s purpose.
